Mariano Di Vaio. A young man who I am following for a while on his blog and Instagram. Nine out of ten blogs that I follow, are all blogs of women. You would think its logic. Right? But despite that his blog is just about fashion for men, I love it! He has a good sense of style and his looks speak for themselves. I contacted Mariano and asked him a few questions. A true gentleman! Because he answered my questions politely and quick. And that is why my dear followers: the fairytale of a gentleman.
First of all: who is Mariano Di Vaio? Mariano Di Vaio is an Italian Model/Actor that is now having fun making this awesome fashion blog helping and following all those people that want to change their look and a bit of their personality, with written suggestions, short videos (Mdv Style Guide) and with beautiful pictures explaining the right way to dress up for all the occasions. His life motto: “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”
1. Your blog offers fashion inspiration, tutorials and advice. How did you get into blogging, and for how long are you doing this?
Yes it does, It’s almost one year now, and I was into modeling for a long time, so I always had to deal with fashion, clothes, and trends.. So when I decided to open my blog (Inspiration I got when i was living in NY) It was quite easy for me, by the way everything happend all of a sudden.
2. Can you tell us 5 random things about yourself?
I laugh. I mean I really do laugh really loudly and sometime it’s embarrassing !!:D I love my family! I have two dogs, “Cherì & Walker” and I love motorcycles!!
3. Who is your style icon and why?
I don’t have one, I like people on the streets, those are my icons !:)
4. What are your musthaves, that you always have in your closet?
Mhh… Shirts.. All the kinds of shirts in all of the colors and tipes…
5. What do you think that the trends for men and women are this summer?
Well I don’t want to lie, have no idea for women!! But for men’s I guess “Feather stamps” Flower stamps” and “Paisley”
6. What do you like about women, when it comes to fashion?
I like “Minimal-easy-and monochromatic ” stuff. I really do love a woman with a classy look which is a bit Vintage and sporty at the same time, if you know what I mean.
7. Do you have some final words/tips you want to share with my readers (who are mainly women)?
First of all that I’m opening a small part on my blog ( http://www.mdvstyle.com )called “Seen by him” which is going to be what I like to see on girls. And then, well well, I really do adore to see well dressed women, but I do not love crazy stuff on them, so sometimes is better to wear a “traxy bottom” with some nice trainers instead of something else. (Men get crazy for Traxys, I swear!)
